This page explains how Charik uses cookies on www.charik.app. Charik is operated by Charik SAS, a French company registered in Paris. This policy is provided in English for convenience; the French version, at charik.app/cookies, is the reference text under French and EU (GDPR) law.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. It stores information about your browsing session so the site can function properly or measure how it is being used.
The three categories of cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the site to work. They store your cookie consent preference, the security tokens for the contact form, and your user session. They do not require consent under GDPR because they are essential to the service you asked for.
2. Audience measurement cookies
These cookies help us understand which pages are visited and how the site is being used, so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 loaded via Google Tag Manager. No personal data is sold to any third party.

3. Advertising & personalization cookies
This category is reserved for future activation. No advertising cookies are currently set. When activated, it will support ad performance measurement (Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag) with explicit consent.
Google Consent Mode v2
Charik implements Google Consent Mode v2. The default state for the four advertising signals (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) is denied. Signals are updated to granted only after your explicit consent through our cookie banner.
Your choices
You can accept, refuse or customize your choices at any time via the cookie banner at the bottom of the page, or via the small cookie icon that stays visible in the bottom-left corner after your first choice. Your preferences are kept for 13 months (French CNIL guidance) before we ask you again.
You can also configure cookies directly in your browser settings. Most browsers accept cookies by default but let you refuse or delete them at any time.

We may update this policy. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Substantial changes are notified via the cookie banner.
